2. Scope of these terms
These terms govern the use of the hailo-colours.de website and the purchase of products and services from Hailo Colours GmbH. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. We reserve the right to update these terms; the version in force at the time of your order or enquiry applies.
3. Products and ordering
All products are sold subject to availability. Prices are quoted in Euros and exclude VAT unless otherwise stated. VAT is charged at the applicable German rate for domestic orders; for orders within the EU, the relevant destination country rate applies. Export orders outside the EU are VAT-exempt.
An order is confirmed when we send you a written order confirmation by email. Product descriptions and specifications on this website are provided for information purposes; final specifications are confirmed in the order documentation.
4. Custom and special orders
Custom RAL colour orders and non-standard specification orders are non-refundable once production has commenced. A 30% deposit is required on all custom orders at the time of order confirmation. The remaining balance is payable prior to despatch.
5. Delivery
Standard lead times are 4–6 weeks for standard palette orders and 6–8 weeks for custom colour orders. Delivery timescales are estimates; we do not accept liability for delays caused by carrier, customs, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Risk of loss transfers to you on delivery. We recommend inspecting goods on delivery and reporting any damage to us within 48 hours.
6. Returns and warranty
Products may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund, provided they are unused, in original packaging, and undamaged. Return shipping costs are payable by the buyer unless the product is faulty.
We warrant all products against defects in materials and manufacture for a period of 24 months from delivery. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, incorrect installation, or normal wear. Our drawer mechanisms carry an additional performance warranty of 100,000 cycles under standard operating conditions.
7. Intellectual property
All content on this website — text, images, design, tools, and code — is the property of Hailo Colours GmbH and is protected by German and European intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any website content without written permission.
The Hailo Colours name, logo, and collection names (Verdure Series, Form Series, Sand & Stone Series) are trademarks of Hailo Colours GmbH registered in Germany and the EU.
8. Planning tools and advisory content
The interactive planning tools on this website are provided for informational purposes. Outputs from these tools are indicative recommendations and do not constitute professional design advice. We recommend consulting a qualified kitchen designer or fitter before committing to any installation.
9. Limitation of liability
Our liability for defective products is governed by German product liability law. We are not liable for indirect losses, loss of profits, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website content, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by German law. Any disputes arising from these terms or our products and services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Munich, Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
11. Consumer dispute resolution
